Aside from the funky wheels, the Doroni H1 is not a bad looking offering into the flying car/evtol market. Not sure why, but black and white airframes always get me excited, it speaks futuristic to me.
The H1 has a targeted range of up to 60 miles on a single charge, with plans to increase this range to 100 miles as battery and motor technology advances. As safety is always on the top of my list if I ever want to sit in one of these, Doroni has done their homework on redundancy systems, collision avoidance technology, and emergency landing capabilities.
Side note: I will make a nice chart comparing all the flying cars on the list and their specs so we can nerd out even more.
Nerding aside - Doron Merdinger is the CEO of Doroni. Let’s take a look at his history. He has a background in product design - heading up another outfit: https://www.coroflot.com/doronMerdinger/Doron-Merdinger-House-of-Design
Doron has obviously taken some cues from his earlier product design works to incorporate into the look of the H1, and it seems to translate quite well.
‘25 years of experience in design, manufacturing, and managing eight-figure firms, Doron assembled a world-class engineering and technical team to deliver on his ultimate vision of democratizing the power of flight and providing consumers with an entirely new mode of mobility.’ Impressive stuff, dude.
A well made introduction video for the H1 below.
Wise words from Doron:
"We are beyond thrilled with the remarkable success of our flight tests, which has truly showcased the immense capabilities of the Doroni eVTOL," said Doron Merdinger, CEO and Founder of Doroni Aerospace. "We remain steadfast in our mission to revolutionize personal transportation, creating innovative and cutting-edge solutions that will reshape the way we interact with space and beyond."
