This week, Horizon Aircraft dropped some big news: they're cozying up with India's JetSetGo in a deal where they could pick up new 50 Cavorite X7 Aircraft. JetSetGo has the option to double down and grab another 50, pushing the deal's potential value to a whopping $500 million. I bet you are thinking the same thing that I am. $5 Million PER AIRCRAFT??? Yeah this is not for the average joe, folks.
Brandon Robinson, the head honcho at Horizon, is betting on the Cavorite X7 eVTOL, hoping it'll not only take India by storm but make waves globally. Why is this important? Well, this hybrid electric aircraft doesn't need any charging stations. It's a hybrid after all (we’ve talked about this one before)
Meanwhile, Kanika Tekriwal, the co-pilot of JetSetGo (metaphorically speaking, of course), is equally excited. She's thrilled to partner with a company that's not just dipping its toes but diving deep into operational and aerospace tech. Together, they're aiming to revolutionize sustainable air travel and also to deliver a first-class flying experience.
Oh and I don’t know if you knew this, but Horizon just recently went public. I’m not going to post the details here, but you can read about it in this link: https://aviationweek.com/aerospace/advanced-air-mobility/horizon-goes-public-signs-loi-jetsetgo
