Ryse has a secret, Lilium to share more details, Sino Jet in China
What are you hiding, RYSE?
I kind of love it when companies make announcements about something āsecretā in development. Iām not gonna lie, it gets me excited, it gets my wheels turning. RYSE is no different. They took to X to talk about something they have secretly planned (Probably for the Recon), that they will reveal to the public. What could it be?
Check out our previous blog post about the Recon: https://carscanfly.substack.com/p/ryse-recon
Based on the photo above, the only thing I can guess, is something about the airframe, perhaps a unique safety feature or engineering improvement to the airframe.

Lilium will announce new details
Lilium (no introductions necessary) will be sharing fresh insights into its innovative aircraft design and advanced battery technology in an upcoming webinar. The presentation will be led by one of Lilium's founding members and the head of innovation, Daniel Wiegand.
During the webinar, participants will get a look at the latest test results and a thorough explanation of the Lilium Jet's energy requirements, the current battery solutions that can satisfy these requirements, and the strategies Lilium and its collaborators are implementing to ramp up battery production.
The event, complete with a live Q&A session, will be streamed on Lilium's investor relations page on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (14:00 Central European Time).
Shareholders of Lilium can take part by submitting and upvoting questions beforehand, ensuring that they're verified holders of Lilium shares. I might send a question or two. Those interested but not holding shares can direct their inquiries to investors@lilium.com.
Sino Jet is stepping it up in China
Sino Jet plans to become a leader in Chinaās emerging advanced air mobility (AAM) sector following its announcement in August that it will buy 100 of the AE200 eVTOL aircraft being developed by the Aerofugia subsidiary of the Geely automotive group. The tiltrotor model is expected to carry five passengers and have a range of up to around 300 kilometers (188 miles). Wow pretty impressive range and capacity.
Jenny Lau, the president of Sino Jet, a Hong Kong-based aviation company, mentioned that their new partnership is a strategic fit for the company's long-term goal to provide comprehensive transportation solutions, including seamless last-mile services for their clients. In pursuit of this vision, Sino Jet is not just focusing on aircraft management and charter services but is also looking to expand by building new FBO private terminals across mainland China.
Sino Jet, with dual headquarters in Hong Kong and Beijing, maintains operational bases across over 20 cities, such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Zhuhai, and Chengdu. The company's fleet comprises roughly 50 aircraft, which includes luxury jets like the Gulfstream and the Embraer Legacy. With facilities already in Singapore, the company has extended its footprint into Europe earlier this year, setting a precedent as the first Chinese business aircraft operator to do so in the region.
Lau let everyone know that Sino Jet conducted thorough research on various aircraft models. They considered eVTOLs with different features like basic to two-seater cabins, self-flying capabilities, and limited range. In the end, it was the AE200 that emerged as the favored choice. It aligns with their customers' preferences thanks to its stylish and spacious cabin that accommodates four to five passengers, its considerable range, and the fact that it includes a pilot onboard, which Sino Jet sees as essential during the early phases of eVTOL implementation.
I canāt say that Iām impressed visually with the AE200, but Iām excited to see more eVTOLs being purchased by larger companies. It will pave the way for more companies emerging in this sector - which leads to MORE FLYING CARS!
