With the eagerly anticipated future of transportation almost at hand, PAL-V have unveiled Germany's first showroom dedicated to flying cars.
The PAL-V showroom is now accessible to the public, and the once far-fetched dream of gliding through the skies in an elegant and groundbreaking flying car has become sort of a reality. PAL-V has been one of the movers and flyers of the airborne mobility revolution, and the launch of this showroom demonstrates that making futuristic transportation could become widely available - if these companies keep trying… really hard.. for a while.
For years, the world has talked about and envisioned flying cars, usually seen only in science fiction films and futuristic artwork. But now, with the official construction of Germany's own flying car showroom, PAL-V is making this vision into reality.
So this is kind of a special occasion for the country, and for the world - come to think of it, I’m not aware of any other flying car showrooms.
So full stop for a sec - what actually is the PAL-V?
It’s a Gyroplane - meaning a weird mix of helicopter and plane. Here’s some more info on that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autogyro This one is actually a car too, though. Not only that but it folds up. So its like a portable car auto-gyro thing. (Mouthful, lets just say flying car)
"We believe that the future of transportation lies in the skies, and with our showroom now open in Munich, we are one step closer to turning this belief into a widespread reality," said Robert Dingemanse, CEO of PAL-V. "Flying cars are no longer a distant dream; they are here, they are real, and they are ready to revolutionize the way we travel."
