‘The Ace VTOL Slipstream Elite is a remote piloted personal flying vehicle designed to make access to flying cars possible for everyone.’
I’m very curious about this one because the concept is very unique but I don’t see any actual prototypes yet to back it up. It’s all simulation.
Is there a piece of plastic and metal somewhere that we can take a look at? Will it actually fly?
You know, with brushless motors and lithium batteries, almost anything can fly… but…
What does the remote piloting mean? Let’s dig a little deeper into that statement. It seems like this is similar to a modern car where you can let it follow the lines on the road, or you can take over. So some autopiloting to a degree. I’m all for that, especially when in the air - it seems to make even more sense.
Their YouTube channel features 2 videos that are both full simulation marketing videos: https://www.youtube.com/@acevtol

I will admit, the whole NFT part of this has me suspect of the project.
Will reevaluate when there is a video of a flying prototype. Looks cool, though.
