Top 5 Best flying cars of 2023 - it's December 1st!
These are our top 5 - visually speaking - eVTOLS and flying cars oh my!
Ok don’t you just love these lists? Everyone loves lists. So I had to make one. These are my top picks for the year of 2023. (in no particular order)
Lilium
The Lilium Jet is beautiful - (the black and white airframe give the Apple sleek look) and the proprietary technology is Ducted Electric Vectored Thrust (DEVT). The ducted fans integrated into the wing flaps provide advantages in payload, aerodynamic efficiency and a lower noise profile, whilst also providing thrust vector control to manoeuvre the Lilium Jet through every phase of flight.

Bellwether Volar Oryx
The Lamborghini of flying cars. The design is so stunning. Hands down, the most aesthetically pleasing flying car that I have seen to date. It looks… fast.

Ryse Recon
The Ryse Recon is built for cruising around with no pilot’s license - weekend warrior style. They claim it is really easy to use - but you likely won’t be commuting to work in this vehicle. It just won’t have enough range yet to get most people to their offices.

Air One
The AIR ONE is an electric two-seater eVTOL that boasts a 110-mile range on a single charge, reaching speeds of up to 155 mph (that’s pretty damn fast) and offering an hour of flight time. AIR ONE is designed for daily convenience, featuring foldable wings for streamlined parking and the capability to ascend or descend on any level terrain.

Pivotal BlackFly
The vehicle in question is produced by Pivotal, a California-based company, we’ve talked about it before (Pivotal, Opener, black-fly, etc). This innovative craft eliminates the need for a traditional runway, much like a helicopter - but much easier to use.

Honorable Mention: Jetson One
Had to have an honorable mention because I scrolled down and remembered the Jetson One! Oddly enough I don’t remember if I did a blog post about it - but I think I will plan on it very soon.
Jetson is a Pioneering EVTOL company with a mission to change the way we travel. They aim to make the skies available for everyone with our safe personal electric aerial vehicle.
